Overview
Projekt Vektor is a surreal, sci-fi interactive fiction experience built on Twine that blends atmosphere, choice-driven narrative, and modern web design. Developed entirely from scratch, this project serves as a comprehensive showcase of my multidisciplinary skillset—combining visual art, audio design, branching logic, and highly optimized frontend development into a singular, cohesive experience.

Key Features & Technical Highlights
- Custom 2D Pixel Art & Branding: I created all the visual elements for Projekt Vektor, including the atmospheric 2D pixel art and the game’s distinctive logo. The visual style leans heavily into a surrealist, retro-futuristic sci-fi aesthetic, setting a moody and immersive tone right from the opening screen.
- Fluid, Responsive UI/UX Design: Built with modern web standards, the interface features a fluid layout that adapts flawlessly across all devices. Whether played on a desktop monitor, a tablet, or a mobile screen, the UI elements dynamically resize and reposition to maintain readability and aesthetic appeal without breaking immersion.
- Branching Narrative Logic: At its core, the project highlights moderately complex decision-making frameworks. The narrative branches dynamically based on player choices, showcasing my skills in story architecture, variables management, and state tracking within interactive media.
- Immersive Sound Design: To elevate the surreal atmosphere, I engineered custom audio and soundscapes tailored specifically for the narrative. Note: Due to modern browser security and autoplay restrictions, audio may require user interaction or manual permission to play on certain browsers.
- Extreme Economy of Resources: Performance was a top priority. Every visual asset, logo, and audio file has been meticulously compressed and optimized for the web. The result is an incredibly lightweight footprint that boasts lightning-fast load times, ensuring players dive straight into the experience without frustrating delays, even on slower mobile networks.

Reflection
Projekt Vektor represents my philosophy as a creator: that rich storytelling and striking visuals shouldn’t come at the cost of performance. By wearing multiple hats—from graphic designer and pixel artist to audio engineer and UI programmer—I was able to create a highly optimized, cross-platform experience that showcases my ability to deliver a polished product from concept to deployment.
